WW1 1914-15 Trio

David Samson from Dundee enlisted in to the 1/4th Black Watch in December 1914. He first landed in France 24-2-1915. He was wounded by gun shot to the ankle 24-7-1916 on the Somme & after recovering from his injury he transferred to the Tank Corps with service number 78511. He was wounded whilst serving with the Tank Corps in France 28-4-1918. He was serving with A battalion and suffered burns to his hands. He returned to the UK and was discharged at the wars end.
