Samuel Keith Harries was born 1850 & commissioned in to the Devon Regiment in 1874. He served in Afghanistan 1880 & was M.I.D for his services. He served with the Devon regiment during the Tirah campaign & was recalled for service in the Boer war with the reserve of officers & the remount section. He served at home during WW1 & was high sheriff of Pembrokeshire. He died at home in Wales in 1936.
