Edward Frank McNaughton was killed in action in France & Flanders 20-9-1917 serving with the 10th battalion of the Australian infantry. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Menin gate memorial at Ypres. The CWGC state that he was the late 26 year old son of Edward & Margaret McNaughton of 26 Princess Street, Croydon, South Australia & was a native of Springvale, Victoria.
