WW1 1914-15 Star & Victory Medal

Thomas Percy Groves was born in Maidenhead 4-12-1862 & enlisted as a boy in 1910. He joined HMS Hampshire 4-3-1914 & was serving onboard when she was sunk by mine off the Orkneys. Which resulted in the deaths of Lord Kitchener & his staff who were also onboard the ship. He has no known grave other than the sea but is commemorated on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial.
