Malcolm Cameron was born in Inverness & lived in Kyle of Lochalsh, Inverness-shire. But enlisted in Glasgow. He first landed in France 8-7-1915 serving with the 7th service battalion of the Cameron Highlanders. He was wounded in France 10-9-1915 & sadly went on to be killed in action in France & Flanders 25-9-1915 on the first day of the battle of Loos. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Loos memorial.
