Francis Mcann from Belfast enlisted in to the 1st battalion at Omagh 13-10-1890 & served with the battalion in India. He took his discharge in 1897 but was recalled from the reserve on the outbreak of the Boer war in 1899. He served in South Africa from. 5-11-1899 through to 22-6-1901 when he returned to the Uk & was discharged 295 days later.
GVF or better with minor contact marks in the field & complete with copy service papers & medal roll details. The South Africa 1901 clasp is loose on the ribbon of the QSA but its confirmed on the medal roll and was issued later as a separate item.
