William Hutton was born in Paisley & enlisted in Woolwich. Whilst living in Johnston. He first landed in France 1-10-1915 serving with the 2nd battalion. He sadly died of wounds at home 17-5-1918 & is buried in Thorn Abbey cemetery. The CWGC state he was the late 28 year old son of Mrs E Hutton of 10 Collier street, Johnstone, Renfrewshire.
