Arthur Ferguson Leiper was killed in action in France & Flanders 23-9-1918 serving with the 7th service battalion of the Scottish Rifles. He was born in Govan & enlisted in Glasgow. He was 25 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in Moeuvres British cemetery in France. The CWGC state that he was the late son of Mr & Mrs Robert Leiper of 5 Aitkenhead Road, Govanhill, Glasgow.
