Albert Henry Wakefield was killed in action in France & Flanders 30-7-1916 serving with the 8th service battalion of the Gloucester regiment. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Thiepval memorial. He was a resident of Cheltenham & has a good entry in leaving all that was dear to them (Cheltenham WW1 biographical roll of honour)
