Thomas Ernest Guy was born in Bermondsey & enlisted in Kingston on Thames. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 8-5-1917 serving with the 8th battalion. He was 19 years of age at the time of his death & is commemorated on the Arras memorial. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Frederick and Caroline Guy, of 91, Clarence St., Rotherhithe, London.
