Harold Walter Mudd lived at Shepherds bush, London & enlisted at Hammersmith. He first landed in France 14-11-1915 serving with the 7th battalion of the London Regiment. He was later issued with the six figure TF service number 352036 & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 16-9-1917 during the battalions action at Cryer farm. He was 22 years of age at the time of his death & was a former employee of the South suburban gas company at Sydenham & he is commemorated on the company memorial. Sadly he has no known grave but is commemorated on the Menin gate memorial at Ypres.
