William Reginald Sarel from Rotherhithe, London enlisted in to the Royal Fusiliers in 1897 & served with the regiment in South Africa during the Boer war & in the Tibet Campaign of 1903-1904. He took his discharge in 1905 & died in Putney in 1958 leaving an estate valued at just over £1628 for probate.
