Leonard Charles Garment first landed in France 22-8-1917 serving with the 10th Lancashire Fusiliers. He was killed in action in France & Flanders 21-3-1918 on the first day of the March offensive. He was 21 years of age at the time of his death & sadly having no known grave he is commemorated on the Arras memorial. The CWGC state that he was the late son of William & Annie Elizabeth Garment of 37 Bernard Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire.
