MAJOR / LIEUT.COL.R.E.SANDERS.ASC / RASC
Reginald Ernest Sanders was commissioned in to the A.S.C in September 1914 & served with the Indian Cavalry division. Whilst in France he was M.I.D three times, 24-12-17, 25-5-18 & 10-7-1919. He was awarded the D.SO for his services in France in the London gazette 3-6-1918 & went on to serve in North West Persia where again he was M.I.D 9-12-1921 & then on to Kurdistan where he was awarded the O.B.E for services in Kurdistan 3-6-24 & was again M.I.D 11-6-1924. He served during WW2 in England & Northern Ireland & finally retired in January 1945.
