Victor Reginald William Johnson first landed in France 23-10-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion of the Wiltshire Regiment. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 28-3-1915 age 20. He is buried in the Royal Irish Rifles graveyard at Laventie & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of Mr.W.Johnson of 40 crescent road, Reading. He was an old boy of Reading university & is pictured in the roll of honour.
