William Henry Fudge was both born & enlisted in Greenwich, Kent & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 30-11-1917 serving with the 12th battalion of the King's Royal Rifle Corps. He was 30 years of age at the time of his death & having no known grave he is commemorated on the Cambrai memorial. He is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of William & Anne Fudge of 8 Frobisher Street, East Greenwich, London & the late husband of Emma.F.Fudge of 146 Armada Street, Deptford, London.
