He was commissioned in to the15th Hussars & attached to the Royal Flying Corps. He first landed in France 7-3-1915 & became squadron commander of 52 Squadron RFC. A very well researched medal that comes with exstensive research details including a number of images of the recipient in uniform. Along with casualty cards, squadron record book details, old school registers & many more details.
GVF on the original full length medal ribbon which has been placed on the ribbon back to front but is stiched in place & I have no intention of distrurbing it.
