James Percival Lloyd first landed in France 27-9-1915 serving with the 10th service battalion of the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. He was commissioned in to the 1st battalion 24-8-1916 & attached to the 15th service battalion. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 25-5-1917 & is one of only 68 men buried in the tiny battlefield cemetery of Welsh cemetery (Caesars Nose) at Ypres. He was 25 years of age at the time of his death & is recorded by the CWGC as the late son of James & Elizabeth Lloyd of 2 Belmont terrace, Cwmbwran, Swansea.
