Percy.D.Savage was a resident of Hawkhurst & first landed in France 19-10-1914 serving with the 2nd battalion. He transferred to the 6th battalion for service on Gallipoli & received a gun shot wound to the chest 6-10-1915. He is entitled to the 1914 star trio with August to November 1914 clasp & this is confirmed on his MIC
