Leslie Taylor Crowther from Huddersfield first landed in France 14-4-1915 & was sadly K.I.A F&F 15-6-1915 serving with the 1/5th battalion. He was 23 years of age at the time of his death & is buried in the Rue-David military cemetery at Fleurbaix. The C.W.G.C state that he was the late son of Norman & Gertrude Crowther of Viso house Huddersfield.
He is pictured in De Ruvignys roll of honour which also contains a very lengthy entry about the recipient & how he met his demise.
