1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Defence Medal, 1939-45 War Medal & GVIR 1st type efficiency medal with Territorial Suspender

The recipient served with the Yorkshire Hussars / R.A.C in the Western desert & was awarded his efficiency medal in army order 48 of 1946. He did not bother to apply for his WW2 campaign medals until 1985 & I have no doubt he was reminded to do so by the 40th anniversary of the end of the war.
