Maurice James Murray was born 23-4-1888 and was commissioned in to the I.A.R.O 20-2-1916. He first served with the 1/112th Infantry in Mesopotamia & was wounded in this theatre. He went on to be attached to the 2/76th Punjabis in India 1920 & finally finished his service with the I.A.S.C & retired from the service in 1935.
