To- 2-LIEUT.D.G.MACLAREN
Donald Graeme Maclaren was educated at Berkhamstead School & university college London. He originally enlisted as a other rank with the Liverpool regiment with service number 356043 & went on to be commissioned in to the 2/10th Battalion / Liverpool Scottish 24-1-1917. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 29-6-1917 during the battalions Dicky's dash daylight raid. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Ploegsteert memorial. He was 31 years of age at the time of his death & was working as a member of staff at Liverpool technical college at the outbreak of war.
