George William Brown from Sunderland served with K.O.S.B during the Boer War of 1899-1902 & re-enlisted at Sunderland 16-11-1914. He first landed in theatre of war 2B The Balkans / Gallipoli 3-9-1915 and spent all of his war with the M.E.F before returning to the UK 10-8-1918.
