Harry Johnson was born in New Cross, London 25-7-1884 & enlisted in to the Bristol division of the R.N.V.R in May of 1917. He was attached to the Mercantile Marine whilst in service but reverted to serve with the R.N.V.R in 1919 prior to his discharge. He applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1923 whilst living in Shirley, Birmingham.
