Arthur Dixon enlisted in to the 5th T.F battalion of the Border Regiment 17-9-1914 & first landed in France with the battalion 26-10-1914. He was later issued with a post 1916 six figure T.F service number 240512. He received gun shot wounds to his right arm & left buttock in 1918 & went on to be discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds 21-8-1919 age 24.
