John Williamson was born & enlisted in Preston, Lancs & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 27-9-1918 serving with the 2/7th battalion of the Liverpool Regiment. He was 19 years of age at the time of his death & he is commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois memorial. He is recorded by the CWGC as the son of Catherine Williamson of 83 Queen Street, Preston, Lancs.
