Arthur Graham was born in Hammersmith & enlisted in to the 3rd Royal Fusiliers in 1890 age 19. He served with the regiment in India from 1896 & was placed on the army reserve in 1897. He was recalled from the reserve for the Boer War & served with the Northumberland Fusiliers in South Africa from October 1899 through to January of 1902. He was discharged in January of 1902 as medically unfit for further military service.
