The recipient was awarded the DCM for gallantry in South Africa during the Boer war in the London gazette 10-9-1901 whilst serving with the 2nd battalion. He was a resident of Oldham and was commissioned on to the 10th Territorial force battalion in 1910. He served with the 10th battalion as QM & Lieutenant during WW1 & was discharged with a silver war badge in 1917 due to ill health.
VF or better & swing mounted for wear. Minor contact marks to all medals & complete with London gazette details, MIC & Medal roll details. Thought to be a unique combination to the regiment.
