Sidney Arnold Turner first landed in France in August of 1915 serving with the Worcester Regiment. He had been educated at Uppingham school & went on to be attached to the Machine Gun Corps. He was mortally wounded at Gouieacourt 3-4-1917 and sadly died og his wounds 17-4-1917. He is buried in St Sever cemetery and was 25 years of age at the time of his death.
