William James Cecil Bensley was serving with the 1/5th battalion of the Northumberland Fusiliers when he was captured by the Germans & taken prisoner of war 27-5-1918 whilst serving with B- Company. He was released at the wars end & arrived back in the UK 18-1-1919.
