Joseph Bramall was born in Bolton 1884 & was a resident of Great Lever. He enlisted in to the Royal Engineers at St.Helens 23-8-1915 & went on to serve in France some time after 1-1-1916. He was awarded the immediate M.S.M for services in France with the 421st West Lancashire division in the London gazette 18-1-1919 & was discharged at the wars end.
