John Kinsey was both born & lived in Blaydon on Tyne. He enlisted in Newcastle & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 15-8-1916 serving with V 40th Trench Mortar battery of the Royal Garrison Artillery. He is buried in Mazingarbe communal cemetery extension in France.
GVF or better with the original full length silk medal ribbon. Along with a letter dated 28-5-1955 to his sister from a chap in France with regards to the location of her late brothers grave, CWGC & SDGW details.
