Sidney Chantler Huddlestone was born in Kendal, Westmorland & was educated at Kendal Grammar School & Edinburgh university. He first landed in France 13-11-1914 serving with the 1st battalion of the Black Watch. He was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 25-1-1915 at La Bassee.
GVF or better & complete with extensive research that includes MIC details along with a copy image of the recipient in uniform & copies of the recipients obituries from the Westmoreland gazette and his old school.
