MINT BOXED WW2 ROYAL ENGINEERS OFFICERS MEDAL GROUP

Mint boxed 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Burma Star, Defence Medal & 1939-45 War Medal.
Housed in the original O.H.M.S box of issue as addressed to- CAPT.J.BELL, 110 WEST MAIN ST, DARVEL, AYRSHIRE, SCOTLAND.
The reverse of the box of issue has the standard return address of The War office. AG4 (Medals) as is standard for groups issued to officers & the group still retains the original forwarding slip for the medals.
I was told by the recipients son that he served with the Royal Engineers & was attached to the Kings African Rifles in the Far East. However I have done no research on this group since I purchased direct from the family a few weeks ago. As such it is priced at little more than the break up value of the medals at retail prices for singles.
