Percy Howarth Edwards was born in Newcastle on Tyne & worked at the family firm of F.H.Edwards Esq, Bath Lane, Newcastle on Tyne. He was commissioned in to his local T.F unit the 1/5th Northumberland Fusiliers & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 24-5-1915 although he was initially listed as missing for a period of time. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Menin gate memorial at Ypres.
