Alfred.Jas.Mason enlisted in to the Gloucester Regiment 24-6-1908 and first landed in France 13-8-1914 serving with the 1st battalion. He was wounded in France 15-5-1915 and went on to transfer to the Labour Corps with service number 270312.He was discharged with a silver war badge due to sickness 15-3-1919.
