George Phillips first landed in France 5-10-1914 serving with the Northumberland Hussars Yeomanry & later went on to serve with the corps of Hussars with service number 270160. He returned to the Northumberland Hussars at the wars end with service number 528196 & went on to be awarded the Territorial Efficiency medal in 1925.
