3 Bar Sutlej medal with clasps for Ferozeshuhur, Aliwal & Sobraon

The recipient was an Irish shoemaker from Kilkenny when he enlisted in to the 40th regiment in Dublin 1840. He transferred to the 31st regiment in 1844 & transferred to the 80th regiment in 1848. He transferred for the final time in 1854 to the 75th foot & was discharged after 21 years service in 1861. He was entitled to the Maharajapoor star, the three clasp Sutlej medal, IGS Pegu along with a two clasp indian mutiny medal & the LS&GC.
