George Greenwood first landed in France 7-11-1914 & after being listed as missing for twelve months his death was presumed to have taken place 28-11-1914 when the authority's decided that he had indeed been killed in action in France & Flanders 28-11-1914 just three weeks after his arrival in France. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Le Touret memorial & recorded as the late son of George & Elizabeth Greenwood of New Wortley, Leeds.
Medals NEF with the full length original silk medal ribbons. The Scroll and paperwork are clean and tidy but do show signs of age & use. Complete with MIC & medal roll details. Along with details from both SDGW & the C.W.G.C
