William Clough first landed in France 2-1-1915 serving with the Royal Engineers. He was commissioned in to the Machine Gun Corps 28-5-1918 & when he applied for the issue of his campaign medals in 1923 he was living at 15 South Avenue, Whitefield, Lancs.
