WW1 Pair with original M.I.D Oakleaves
Harold Milnes from Bradford served with the 6th battalion of the Royal Highlanders / Black Watch & was mentioned in despatches for services in France & Flanders in the London gazette 28-12-1918. He was invalided out of the army with a silver war badge due to a fall from his horse 11-11-1918 (Possibly due to armistice celebrations?)
NEF & Mounted as worn. Complete with copy service papers & MIC details. The recipient originally served with the Scottish horse but never served overseas in that capacity.
