Charles Frederick Hull was born 24-11-1893 and lived in Heworth, North Yorkshire.He originally enlisted in to the Yorkshire regiment with service number 46274 & later went on to transfer to the Royal Engineers with service number 22336. He finally transferred to the RAF as an other rank with service number 322084 prior to his commission in 1918. He was passed fit to serve as an observer
23-5-1918 whilst serving in France. He was discharged to the unemployed list 10-5-1919. He applied for the issue of his two campaign medals in 1923 and gave his home address as 17 Main Avenue, Heworth, Yorks.
