Mint cased GVR Military Cross (MC) & 1914-15 Trio with M.I.D Oakleaves

Neville Marriott North was South African by birth & was commissioned in to the 5th battalion of the Northumberland fusiliers in 1912 having completed his education at both Bedford modern & Leeds university.He first landed in France in April 1915 & was wounded in April 1915, July 1915 & September 1916. He was both awarded the Military Cross & mentioned in dispatches 1-1-1916 & was sadly killed in action in France & Flanders 27-5-1918. He has no known grave but is commemorated on the Soissons memorial. He was a resident of Huddersfield prior to WW1 and was a member of the institute of Civil engineers.He is recoded by the CWGC as the late son of Francis North of 5 Goldington avenue, Bedford.
The MC is mint in its original case of issue with the original ribbon and mounting brooch. It is engraved on the reverse CAPTAIN.N.M.NORTH.5th NORTH, FUS 1915. Whilst the trio is EF or better.
Complete with a copy of the recipients obituary from the regimental magazine which includes a photograph of the recipient in uniform. Along with a copy of the recipients obituary from both the sphere and the journal of the association of civil engineers. Along with other basic research including MIC & medal roll details plus copy London gazette details.
