Ernest Clements enlisted 29-12-1910 & first landed in France 11-9-1914. He later transferred to the Bedford Signal depot of the Royal Engineers with service number 199064 & was discharged with a silver war badge due to wounds 14-11-1917 age 24.
The award of the August to November clasp is confirmed on the recipients medal index card.
