Ernest John Edridge was born in Bethnal Green, Middlesex & lived in Leyton, Essex when he enlisted at Stratford. He first landed in France 5-10-1914 and sadly died of wounds in France & Flanders 1-11-1914. He is however buried in Norwich cemetery in Norfolk. So I suspect that he was actually transported back to the UK before he died?
NEF & Complete with MIC details along with details from both S.D.G.W & the C.W.G.C.
