Finlay Finlayson served with the 6th Scottish Imperial Yeomanry in the Boer War of 1899-1902 & went on to serve in WW1 with the 1st Scottish Horse Yeomanry. He first landed in theatre of war 2B Gallipoli / the Balkans 18-8-1915. He was later renumbered as 316536 and finished his war as a C.QM.SJT before finally being demobilised 10-3-19.
