NO CLASP QSA 1899-1902 NAMED TO THE RECIPIENT AS 86.CONDUCTOR.C.P.MARCUS.A.S.C.ALONG WITH THE THE SAME RECIPIENTS 1914-15 TRIO TO,SPTS-3312.PTE.C.P.MARCUS.ROYAL.FUSILIERS.CHRISTIAN PAUL MARCUS SERVED IN THE BOER WAR AS A CONDUCTOR WITH THE A.S.C AND DURING WW1 ENLISTED IN TO THE 24TH SPORTMANS BATTALION OF THE ROYAL FUSILIERS. HE WAS SADLY KILLED IN ACTION IN FRANCE & FLANDERS 13-11-1916. HE WAS BORN IN CAMBERWELL & ENLISTED IN LONDON WHILST LIVING IN UPPER NORWOOD.HIS PROBATE WAS GRANTED TO HIS FATHER PETER DANIEL MARCUS A MERCHANT LIVING AT 21 ANERLEY HILL UPPER NORWOOD AND THE RECIPIENT LEFT AN ESTATE OF JUST OVER 483.COMPLETE WITH MEDAL ROLL & MIC DETAILS ALONG WITH OTHER BASIC DETAILS.
